Grace Greater Than Our Shame

The enemy likes to bring up our past, all our former sins, all of our failures, all of our shame, but God’s grace is greater. Jesus came to call the sinners, not the righteous. Our past does not disqualify us from salvation. Our sins do not disqualify us from being used by God for great things. Our shame is not too great for God. God’s grace is greater.

Coronavirus and Seeing the Good

Ok, here’s the age-old question: is that glass half full or half empty? The optimist says half full. The pessimist says half empty. The realist asks if the water has just been poured or if someone has been drinking it. I think there’s a fourth category as well: the person who sees the good.
