Daniel: Faithfulness to the Sovereign God
God will most certainly judge all people. Therefore, we must ask ourselves, “When God judges me, will I be found wanting?”
Ever since mankind’s fall into sin, humans have had a pride tendency. We live as though we are sovereign. But Daniel 4 makes clear that God alone sovereignly rules over all.
The world is full of idols. And the world expects Christians to give themselves, their worship and their lives, to those idols. However, what we learn in Daniel chapter 3 is: There is only one God worthy of our worship and our lives.
We live in a world with plenty of opportunities for fear, anxiety, and worry, whether that be from times personal crisis or from times of national turmoil. What we learn from Daniel 2 is that in times of personal crisis and national turmoil, God is our only hope.
